You guys! With today’s Field Trip announcement, it feels like Summer is just around the corner! (fingers crossed).
The festival, taking place on June 6 and 7 at the beautiful Fort York and Garrison Commons, has unveiled the following A++ lineup:
In addition to some of the best music, the festival will continue to expand its theme of community and discovery by also exploring some of this city’s finest culinary, art, photography, technology, and fashion.
You guys, Winter Is Coming!
Full steam ahead with the clocks turned back and everything!
But don’t let it get you completely down – there are a bunch of amazing shows coming up in Toronto that should give you plenty of reasons to enjoy yourselves this week:
It’s not like we currently have a calendar counting down to what will surely be another Coen brothers gem – this time about a struggling 60s musician … – ok, fine, we totally do – 46 more days left!
And because we’re getting a teensy bit impatient, here comes NPR to the rescue, providing us with a first listen from the film’s soundtrack. Take a listen to this beauty in all its glory!

Yeah yeah yeah, we’re a little bit obsessed with The Growlers around here. But how can you not be? They make the most epic music around and their live shows leave you feeling seriously euphoric.
The band is releasing their new EP Guilded Pleasures this November, but have already made the album available for purchase to those seeing them on their current tour. They play Toronto October 1. Rest of the tour dates are here.
Check out their latest single Humdrum Blues here.
See you at the show!
