MUST SEE IN THE CITY | This Week’s Toronto Concerts Not To Miss Out On

Happy American Thanksgiving week, y’all! While us poor Torontonians are getting none of the extended long weekend, and just all of the gravy, here are some of the things happening in the city to make our week great, regardless!

Who: Shannon and the Clams
with Milk Lines and Chico No Face
When: Monday, November 25, 2013
Why: start your week off right with this Oakland-based trio of 60s inspired garage rockers. Trust. And thank us later.
Where: Silver Dollar

Who: Cults
with Sacco and Mood Rings
When: Monday, November 25, 2013
Why: Girl crush on lead singer Madeline Follin aside, check out this duo and their roster of angsty yet sweet indie rock.
Where: Lee’s Palace

Who: Rituals
with The Ooohh Baby Gimme Mores and Fresh Snow
When: Friday, November 29, 2013
Why: Shhhhh. Don’t tell anybody, but this Toronto-based fuzz trio may be our favourite local band… oh heck, tell everybody. And come to their show, too!
Where: Steam Whistle Brewery

Who: The Hives
When: Sunday, December 1, 2013
Why: Not gonna lie, used to get confused between The Hives vs The Vines all the time. Both bands came out around the time we started being able to get into 19+ shows (helloooooo fake id that finally worked!) and brings back so much nostalgia. The good kind. So why not relive the mid 2000s and go check them out!
Where: The Phoenix Concert Theatre
